Tiny Dancer

Sophie started in a little dance class at Chinese school last night and she is a beautiful dancer.  :)   She participated, followed instructions and looked like an angel.   I wasn’t sure how it was going to go because although she has been beside herself excited for days prior to the class, when I took her in, she clammed up.  Just stared.  LOL  But once I was gone, she blossomed into a good little student.  :)   How do I know?  Because I could not resist PEEKING throughout the class. 

Here is a little glimpse of our little dancer.

This sums up how she felt about her first class!  :)  

She was so pleased that her teacher told her what a good girl she is.  I asked if both dance and gymnastics were open at the same time (which of course they are but dont tell her that quite yet!), which would she choose and she had to think about it but said she would choose dance.  With her height and muscular yet thin build, that is probably an excellent choice for her but of course for now, I just want her to pick whatever is the most fun!  :)

    Omigosh…how much do I love those little leg warmers!!! And then I looked at the first photo again and saw those little shoes! Love it! Glad she had so much fun!

    oh I love this! I didn’t realize how much Sophie’s build resembles Chloe’s…tall, thin, and legs that go on forever – Sophie is having so much fun. Chloe likes her dance, too – I’d like to add traditional Chinese dance at some point also. bravo, mama!
