MaMa’s Day

I woke up to such nice surprises on Mother’s Day! The kiddos, the girls especially, have been looking forward to today for about two weeks, which really warmed my heart more than anything else. We planned to head to the hills for a little photo shoot at our favorite spot and a pizza lunch at Beau Jo’s.

Bella Boo

Levi

Sweet Sophie

We were totally shaking and shivering so we cut the photo shoot WAY short and took what we could get! It even started snowing as we were leaving!

Rick really makes days like this special for me.

Today was extra special because it was also five years ago today that we met Levi in Yunnan China! We always celebrate adoption anniversaries with a special kid chosen cake from Bask*n Robb*ns.

My favorite pic of the day.
I am a lucky MaMa!

Hi Tiffany,
Great pictures! So glad you had a wonderful Mother’s day. (and that Levi and all of you celebrated his day!— what better Mother’s Day gift you had that year!)
Your kids are really growing up. Of course, so are mine, but I’m in total denial about it.
I had to comment on Bella’s hair. When I looked at her picture I immediately thought that she has hair just like Jenna’s. The color, style, and texture looks just like Jenna’s, but Jenna recently decided she wanted to grow out her bangs for the first time. Seeing Bella’s picture made me kind of miss Jenna’s bangs (growing them out is tough, I keep thinking we should cut them!)
I have mixed feelings about it because Jenna has always had bangs, maybe it’s because she looks older without bangs too. (but I do love the look, it’s so different). Decisions, decisions!
Hope you have a great week! (and that your weather gets warmer!)

Oops! Thought I’d re-read it before I posted. I meant to say “What better Mother’s Day gift could you have asked for?! (the year Levi joined your family).
