Bamboo Sprouts

Chinese New Year falls on Valentine’s Day this year but is really celebrated for a couple of weeks.  Today was the kiddos production with Chinese school and the girls danced and they all sang in the show.

It is amazing how far Sophie has come regarding her fear of being on stage!  I can see her tense up at first, but then she goes for it and I am so proud of her for being so brave. 

Bella knows nothing about fear and lives to be on stage.

The friendliest dragon dance possible.    Usually dragon dances make little peeps cry, but not these cutie pie dancers dancing to cheerful tunes.

Levi does just fine up there!  He follows along, pays attention and doesn’t give it much worry.

Look at that confidence. 

At one point during their song, Bella grabbed the microphone that was a bit in front of her and tried to bring it in very close, making sure she would be heard!  That’s Bella. 

Kind of the biggest challenge today was that the MaMa was flying solo as Daddy has quite a travel schedule these days.  All in all, we pulled it off pretty well though.

Thanks so much to GG and Grma Toni and Miss Ivy for coming to the big show today!  You made it extra special for three kiddos.
