Downstairs we have a family room, school/work/craft room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Â Instead of putting together a new play room in this house, we put together a family room for the kids. Â This house lives really well for us and I like having a space for the kids to watch their own shows, play their games, etc.
Master bedroom. Â Smaller than our previous one, yes. Â But also cozier.

I haven’t painted this bathroom yet (except I did paint the vanity black because the previous peeps had painted it blue, like in an effort to match the blue fixtures in the room, and that just didn’t work for me!).  I made the shower curtain and valance…trying to work with the blue sink, tub and toilet!  Actually, I make fun, but I kind of love the funky 60’s blue, so I plan to keep them for as long as I can get Rick to leave them in.  🙂  I hope to change out the light fixture and the mirror.  And a tile floor would be so nice.  The thing is, we waited to do too many things in our last house until we were selling it, and I want to make it a point to do these things NOW (or soon-ish at least), so we get to enjoy them!  So my wish list is kind of long, but we are making affordable, do it ourselves changes for now.
